Measuring 1050mm long, 600mm wide and 90mm high, the tray provides a large footprint while remaining shallow enough for many workshop, warehouse and industrial applications.

Liquid Compatibility

Polyethylene is compatible with many commonly used liquids, but the tray must not be described as resistant to all oils, fuels, solvents, acids or chemicals.

Compatibility depends on factors including:

Consult the liquid’s safety data sheet and obtain material-compatibility confirmation before using the tray with aggressive chemicals, solvents, oxidisers or unknown substances.

Capacity and Placement

The stated 50-litre capacity applies to the empty tray. Placing machinery, containers or components inside it displaces space and reduces the available containment volume.

For correct use:

1. Place the tray on a stable, level surface.
2. Ensure the equipment fits inside the tray without damaging its walls.
3. Check that the tray provides sufficient usable capacity after displacement.
4. Inspect it regularly for damage, deformation or accumulated liquid.
5. Remove collected liquid before the tray overfills.
6. Clean it using a method compatible with both the tray and collected substance.
7. Manage collected liquid and contaminated cleaning material according to the SDS and applicable waste procedures.

This open tray does not absorb liquid and is not a substitute for a spill kit. It should also not be presented as a compliant drum bund or spill pallet unless its capacity and construction satisfy the applicable site requirements.
