The 70L Extra-Deep Drip Tray provides a broad containment area for collecting compatible drips, leaks and minor spills beneath machinery, containers, components and maintenance equipment.

Measuring 1060mm long, 600mm wide and 120mm deep, this tray provides additional depth and stated capacity compared with the shallower 50L extra-large drip tray.

The tray is manufactured from polyethylene and is available in eight colours. Different colours can be used to identify particular equipment, liquids, work areas or applications according to your site’s own procedures.

Liquid Compatibility

Polyethylene is compatible with many commonly used liquids, but this tray must not be described as resistant to all oils, fuels, solvents, acids or chemicals.

Suitability depends on:

• The exact polyethylene formulation

Check the liquid’s safety data sheet and obtain material-compatibility confirmation before using the tray with aggressive chemicals, solvents, oxidisers or unknown substances.

Capacity and Placement

The stated 70-litre capacity applies to the empty tray. Machinery, drums, containers or components placed inside the tray displace space and reduce its available containment volume.

For correct use:

1. Position the tray on a stable, level surface.
2. Ensure the equipment fits within the tray without damaging its walls.
3. Calculate whether sufficient usable capacity remains after displacement.
4. Inspect the tray regularly for damage, deformation and accumulated liquid.
5. Remove collected liquid before the tray overfills.
6. Clean it using a method compatible with the tray and collected substance.
7. Handle collected liquid and contaminated cleaning materials according to the SDS and applicable waste procedures.

This tray contains liquid but does not absorb it. It is not a substitute for a spill kit and must not be presented as a compliant drum bund or spill pallet unless it satisfies the applicable capacity and construction requirements.
