The IBC spill pallet provides secondary containment for an Intermediate Bulk Container storing compatible oils, fuels, lubricants and industrial liquids.

Manufactured from durable polyethylene, the pallet will not rust or corrode. Its large 1300-litre sump captures leaks and spills beneath the removable platform, helping create a controlled IBC storage area in factories, warehouses, mines, workshops and industrial facilities.

The removable platform provides access to the sump for inspection and cleaning. Four-way forklift entry assists with positioning and handling when performed according to the manufacturer’s instructions and the rated capacity of the handling equipment.

Safe Use and Handling

Place the pallet on firm, stable and level ground capable of supporting the combined weight of the pallet, IBC and stored liquid.

Inspect the IBC, platform and sump regularly. Remove accumulated liquid promptly using equipment and procedures suitable for the substance involved.

Before placing an IBC on the pallet:

1. Identify the stored substance.
2. Review its safety data sheet.
3. Confirm compatibility with polyethylene.
4. Confirm that the filled IBC does not exceed the pallet’s rated load.
5. Check that the IBC footprint is correctly supported.
6. Use appropriate lifting equipment and trained personnel.

Do not assume polyethylene is compatible with every chemical. Spill pallets provide secondary containment but do not replace correct IBC closures, inspections, segregation or legal storage requirements.
